This role is responsible for sourcing, pitching , negotiating and securing talent for video bookings and entertainment content across all Conde Nast titles for editorial and commercial use .

Proactively strategize , pitch and negotiate talent and celebrity bookings for video across all Conde Nast video series.

Responsible for executing and overseeing high level content consistent with all Conde Nast brands. Making sure best practices are in place to ensure center of excellence guidelines and values are in place and being followed.

The ideal candidate must have excellent experience and deep relationships across the entertainment industry . This "celebrity specialist " must be on the pulse of all aspects of the pop culture realm and have a keen eye for emerging talent. This includes musicians, actors in film and television, athletes, influencers, tastemakersand social media stars.

Forging their top-level exclusive relationships with celebrities and leveraging them creatively to benefit the brands globally and to create awareness of Conde Nast initiatives and video booking opportunities.

Create and manage outward facing proactive pitches to secure partnerships between talent and new potential video opportunities.

Work in partnership with senior management from the editorial commercial and video departments across Conde Nast, to make sure TTG is properly supporting and working well with these teams on their video strategy and programming needs .

The Video Director will report to the senior video director in the UK and work closely with the TTG video team network .

Responsible for providing all forms of information and updates, sharing resources and status reports to the global TTG video organization.

A Deep knowledge and understanding of Japanese and APAC culture on local and international levels, across verticals including, fashion, music, arts, entertainment, food and home.

Follow department structure, workflow, and best practices from the TTG video global network.

Negotiate and secure rights and permissions of celebrity talent for Conde Nast titles to allow for global rights and usage.
After Talent is secured liaise on relevant shoot production details from the talent perspective. Attend photo shoots when possible to ensure a successful shoot.

Track status of all talent pitches , coordinate pending offers with TTG video bookers to maximize video output for the various markets.

Oversee and coordinate with brand social teams and talent representatives for social promotion and public relations.

Work in partnership with the development and production teams at CNE to make sure the video booking needs are being met successfully.

Attend weekly talent meetings to provide booking updates and trouble shoot to the Conde titles and the Talent Group and CNE.

Understand the evolving intersection of media, brands, advertising , celebrity and influencer culture globally.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

Must be a strong team player , critical and creative thinker .

Strong knowledge and understanding of Japanese and APAC culture.

Detail oriented, highly organized, ability to multitask, and follow tight strict deadlines.

Must have a strong editorial, digital, or TV booking background.

Proven ability to manage relationships, problem solve, and drive processes forward for change.

Must possess a deep passion and knowledge for pop culture and celebrity .

Strong relationships with publicists , studios, music labels, and streaming television networks is a must .

Speak multiple languages ( not a requirement a desire )
Employment status

Permanent employee (with a probation period of 6 months)
including social insurance payments and transportation expenses

2 days a week (Saturday and Sunday), public holidays and New Year holidays
